(Fairfax, VA) Improving Repair Event Cycle Time (RECT) is a major priority for the RV industry and two upcoming Vendor Training +Plus (VTP) sessions will focus the attention of dealers squarely on ways they can improve that crucial area of customer service. The virtual event, scheduled for November 9 through 20, will be hosted online by RVDA, the National RV Dealers Association, RVDA of Canada, and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.

Vendor Training +Plus sessions are informative, on-demand workshops offered by prominent industry vendors in finance, insurance, marketing, sales, fixed operations, and management. These workshops are a company’s opportunity to present their own content and provide attendees with in-depth product or service information, case studies, educational demos, or topic of choice.

IDS - Integrated Dealer Systems’ General Manager Frank Tamburrini and Product Manager Christopher Buzny will concentrate on “How to Improve Your Fixed Operations & RECT.”  The presentation will examine how IDS’ Fixed Operations Toolset will help a dealership’s service employees work more effectively and collaboratively, so they can improve RECT.

Dealers are encouraged to log into the presentation to learn how to:

•    Monitor and manage issues and tasks more effectively
•    Improve and automate customer communication
•    Empower technicians to spend more time in their bays
•    Enable customers to sign documents and make payments via their mobile devices
•    Measure RECT on a monthly basis

In a separate Vendor Training +Plus session, CDK Global Lightspeed’s Product Manager Chris Hauck will deliver “Service Department: Increase Service Delivery Speed & Experience Using the LightspeedEVO CRM and DMS.”  This session is designed to help dealers understand how to utilize technology to create an unparalleled customer experience in the service department.

Topics covered include:

•    How to use the LightspeedEVO+ mobile app to increase writer and tech efficiency.
•    How job and repair order status can help increase throughput.
•    How to elevate the customer experience using automated text and email.
