1. Course Content:
The course covers various topics related to warranty administration, including processing repair orders, handling warranty claims and parts, managing payments, maintaining customer and manufacturer/supplier relations, and performing administrative tasks.
Eleven modules address key competency areas, ensuring warranty administrators gain the necessary knowledge to meet customer and dealership expectations.
2. Course Structure:
Course modules are based on a comprehensive job and task analysis developed by The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment, in collaboration with RV industry experts.
The course offers an interactive and user-friendly experience, complete with audio voice-overs and progress checks. Multiple sections focus on processing and closing repair orders, emphasizing customer service—a critical skill for top-performing fixed operations personnel.
The course typically takes about 5 hours to complete.
3. Certification and Assessment:
A certificate of completion is available to those that take and pass the comprehensive, timed, final exam. Experienced warranty administrators may be eligible to apply for the Warranty Administrator Certification. There is a separate online test and a $199 application fee.
Those that already hold an RV Learning Center Warranty Administrator certification and pass the course, will earn 5 continuing credit hours toward recertification.
4. Enrollment Period/Registration/Policies:
You may enroll anytime. The current course term is Dec 1, 2023 – December 31, 2024. The next course term is December 1, 2024 – December 31, 2025.

This course is non-transferable. Refunds are provided if the registrant submits a request in writing within 14 days of registration and RVDA staff confirms the Learning Management System (LMS) reflects the registrant has not accessed the course. A $50 administrative fee will be applied. Course extensions are not available. Policies and fees are subject to change without notice.
