The Parts curriculum features two online courses: (1)
Parts Specialist, and (2) Parts Manager. The
Parts Specialist course provides the best and brightest ideas on merchandising, marketing, selling, and inventory management – all duties performed by both parts specialists and parts managers. The Parts Manager course is dedicated to the duties performed exclusively by managers: recruiting, hiring, and training, plus fostering a customer-driven culture and managing financial resources.
This course is designed to help established professionals expand their knowledge to better serve their customers and teams. Four modules covering 20 key competency areas will prepare front-line people with the knowledge required to meet and exceed customer and dealership expectations on a day-to-day basis. Course materials are structured around the comprehensive RV parts manager job and task analysis developed by The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment, in conjunction with RV industry subject matter experts organized by the RV Learning Center. Fully interactive and easy to navigate, the course offer audio voice over and numerous progress checks. It concludes with a timed, comprehensive final assessment. The course takes about 4 hours to complete. Those that enroll between December 1, 2023 and November 30, 2024, will have until December 31, 2024, to complete the course.
