1. Course Content:
The course covers various topics related to service management, including managing service department workflow, providing customer service, generating service department revenue, reviewing administrative reports, managing service personnel, training service department staff, promoting public relations, and performing administrative tasks.

2. Course Structure:
Course modules are based on a comprehensive job and task analysis developed by The Ohio State University’s Center on Education and Training for Employment, in collaboration with RV industry experts.
The course offers an interactive and user-friendly experience, complete with audio voice-overs and progress checks.
Multiple sections focus on service management and emphasize customer service—a critical skill for top-performing fixed operations personnel.
The course typically takes about 8 hours to complete.

3. Course Final Assessment:
Upon completion of the course modules, learners will be directed to complete a comprehensive, timed, final course assessment. A certificate of completion for the course is available to those that complete the course modules and pass the comprehensive, timed, final course assessment with a score of 80% or higher. Learners may retake the course final assessment as many times as needed through the last day of the course term.
Those that already hold an RV Learning Center Service Manager certification, and pass the course, will earn 8 continuing credit hours toward recertification.
4. Certification:
Experienced service managers may be eligible to apply for the Service Manager Certification. To become certified, there is a separate online exam and a $249 application fee. More information can be found

5. Enrollment Period/Registration/Policies:
You may enroll at any time during the year. Those that enroll between December 1, 2025 and July 30, 2026, will have until October 15, 2026, to complete the course.

This course is non-transferable. Refunds are provided if the registrant submits a request in writing within 14 days of registration and RVDA staff confirms the Learning Management System (LMS) reflects the registrant has not accessed the course. A $50 administrative fee will be applied. Course extensions are not available. Policies and fees are subject to change without notice.
