1.    What testing is offered for RV Service Technicians?

There are two tests required to attain certification. The registered technician test and the certification test. There is not a specific test for master certification. Master status is awarded when specific criteria is met on the certification test. (see below)

• Registered Technician
• Certified Technician

2.    How do I become a “Master” certified technician?

To achieve master status a score of 90% or higher is required on the certification test and the technician must also have 5 years documented RV service experience. In the event a technician with less than five years experience achieves the 90% or higher on the test, he/she will be designated a certified technician and will be automatically upgraded to master certified technician once they have documented their 5 years of experience.
