RVDA Board Adjusts Dealers Satisfaction Index Survey Schedule

The RVDA Board of Directors has approved a recommendation to adjust the timing of the association’s annual Dealer Satisfaction Index (DSI) survey, moving the launch to late October. The move will allow the survey to continue through the RVDA Convention/Expo in November, with the survey window closing in January 2019.

The DSI, now entering its 25th year, confidentially measures dealer attitudes regarding their manufacturers’ policies, product support, and procedures. The survey was previously conducted in the August-October timeframe.

“Moving the survey later in the year should improve participation and increase the number of brand ratings that dealers provide,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. DSI Quality Circle Awards are scheduled to be presented at RVIA’s new RVX: The RV Experience event in Salt Lake City, UT, in March. The RVDA Industry Relations Committee developed the recommendation to adjust the timing of the DSI Survey.

In other action at the RVDA Board meeting on June 5th, the board approved a $3.64 million FY19 consolidated budget for RVDA, the Mike Molino RV Learning Center, and the RV Assistance Corp., which includes increased investment in dealer advocacy, member benefits and dealer education programs, including the convention and fixed operations initiatives.
