Best-Selling Customer Service Author and Speaker, Janelle Barlow, to Present Workshops at RVDA Convention/Expo

(Fairfax, VA) Best-selling author Janelle Barlow will present two, hour-long, education workshops in multiple education tracks at the 2017 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo. In addition to her workshops, Barlow will present “Make Your Brand Come Alive in Your Service,” following the awards ceremony at the Society of Certified RV Professionals reception. The convention/expo is the premier education and networking event for North American RV dealers. It takes place at Bally’s in Las Vegas, Nov. 6-10.

“A Complaint is a Gift” takes place Thursday, Nov. 9 at 9:00 a.m. Janelle will help dealers understand why negative feedback is quite rare and how to get more information from customers, how to respond to complaints in a way that addresses your customers’ concerns while staying calm, and how to build a complaint-friendly organization to maintain a robust relationship with customers. Barlow will present “The Branded Customer Experience: Your New Competitive Edge” on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 2:00 p.m. RV professionals who attend this will learn the fundamental principles of how to outperform competitors by creating a branded customer experience platform. They’ll learn why a dealership’s brand needs to be lived and expressed through every aspect of its organizational culture, especially the human exchange of customer service. Workshop preview

The tracked education program includes targeted content on F&I, Sales, Social Media/eMarketing, Parts, Service, rental operations, and general management.  In its planning, the convention committee focuses on dynamic presentations of the most current topics and strives to bring many new presenters to the convention to keep the content relevant and fresh for dealers. This year’s first-timers include Ken Barnes, Myril Shaw, Adam Lafurgey, Brian Barlow, and Scott Meyer.

The convention will also feature an expo of the RV industry’s top companies that offer products and services to help dealers improve profitability.
