RVDA Editor Mary Anne Shreve Announces Retirement

(Fairfax, VA) -- After a 10-year career at RVDA, the association’s editor Mary Anne Shreve has announced she will retire in early September.

During her tenure, Shreve worked with RVDA staff, volunteer leaders, and many content contributors to improve the professionalism of the association’s flagship monthly membership magazine RV Executive Today, as well as the widely read enewsletters RV Executive Today Online and RVDA NewsBrief. She also played a key role in coverage and promotion of the annual RV Dealers Convention/Expo.

“RVDA and the entire industry will miss Mary Anne’s keen insight into topics that are important to RV dealers,” said RVDA President Phil Ingrassia. “I know I speak for myself, and the many RVDA chairmen she worked with over the years, when I say she helped sharpen our focus and communicate more clearly through RV Executive Today and other association communication channels.”

Before coming to RVDA, Shreve served for more than 20 years as an editor on the staff of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) magazine, where her work won several automotive trade press awards. She began her career as a newspaper reporter in the Washington, D.C. metro area.

On her retirement plans, Shreve said that, “once the pandemic is over, my husband Steve and I will resume traveling, including a long-delayed trip to Greece. In the meantime, I’ll be planting tulips and tomatoes, painting, writing to my congressmen, and trying to perfect “Unforgettable” on the piano.”
