 Kate Murphy is a Program Analyst and COR with FEMA. Kate works in the FEMA Logistics Transportable Temporary Housing Unit (TTHU) Program. Kate’s primary responsibility is writing the policy and   guidance documents for the TTHU program and instructing classes for field personnel. Kate is a certified emergency manager and has been with FEMA for more than 5 years.

This informative session will be delivered twice on Thursday, November 14. In addition to the repeated workshops, Holloway and Murphy will give a preview of the session on Wednesday during RVDA’s annual meeting. FEMA uses travel trailers as one solution to their temporary housing mission.

During this workshop, attendees will learn:
  • How RVs are making a difference in the first steps of the long-term recovery process
  • Important details of a housing mission and how RVs fit into that mission
  • FEMA’s expectations when buying a travel trailer, and the lessons learned from the 2017-2018
