 Rob Cohen


 Rob Cohen currently serves as a consultant with KPA. He started with Auto Advisory Services (AAS) in 1994, served as President from 2006 to 2014, and Chairman from 2014 to 2018. Rob is a co-founder of Motor Vehicle Software Corporation (MVSC) and in 2007 they launched DMVdesk, the industry’s first comprehensive vehicle registration management system. In 2015, he sold his interest in MVSC to Accel-KKR. In 2018, Rob sold AAS to KPA Services, LLC. From 2011 to 2018 and worked with Arent Fox’s Automotive Industry Practice as Senior Automotive Counsel. Rob worked as a car salesman and did F&I during law school. His areas of expertise include, truth in lending, consumer vehicle leasing, vehicle sales and finance compliance, advertising compliance, and vehicle registration and titling requirements.

 Tom Finwall was born into the world of commercial insurance with his father owning and operating a successful commercial property & casualty agency in Central Florida for over 33 years before selling to Brown & Brown in 2001.  Tom is a graduate of the University of Florida (2002), and after graduating proceeded to achieve licenses and working experience in the NASD (Series 7) field, real estate, mortgage lending, life health & variable annuity and property & casualty insurance.  The later became is sole focus and he spend the last 16 years dedicated to the technical aspects of products, coverages & claims management processes in all 51 jurisdictions.  He has nine years working on the carrier side, and the last six on the agency retail side specializing on large, complex, hard to place accounts. His claims management programs, which directly influence experience mods and/or rates prove tangible and trackable results for his clients.  He has particularly advanced knowledge on loss sensitive programs, identifying coverage gaps in garage liability, and structuring cyber liability programs that suit the dealer’s specific needs. He proudly and exclusively hangs his hat with Brown & Brown’s Division of Dealer Services as a property & casualty RV & auto dealership risk specialist where he is dedicated to creatively customizing commercial insurance programs for his clients and providing educational industry training.

David T. Foco is a dynamic, competitive management professional with over 35 years of experience in the retail/commercial automotive and RV industry. David is an imaginative, innovative individual with proven management, sales, service, advertising, marketing, training and new business development skills. A history of significant profit, volume and customer satisfaction achievements, which illustrates the ability to combine cost control, revenue growth and process improvements through effective staff training and motivation has been David’s success.  Scott Folkers is the Senior Counsel at Winnebago Industries, Inc. Prior to joining Winnebago, Folkers was employed as in-house counsel for John Morrell & Co. in Sioux Falls, S.D. He had previously worked as an associate attorney for Woods, Fuller, Shultz & Smith PC in Sioux Falls. Folkers received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Iowa and his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of South Dakota, College of Law, in Vermillion, S.D.

 Randy Henrick is an experienced auto dealer compliance and consumer credit attorney and consultant. He was the regulatory and compliance attorney for Dealertrack, Inc., for 12 years. Randy has over 30 years experience in consumer credit and compliance. Prior to Dealertrack, Randy worked for GE Capital, Citibank, MasterCard International, and Fleet Boston. Randy is currently the principal of Randy Henrick & Associates, LLC. He does dealer consulting to provide assistance with regulatory and compliance issues ranging from advertising and policy drafting and reviews to webinar-based training on sales, F&I, privacy, data security, and other regulatory and compliance topics. Parker’s primary responsibility is to act FEMA’s   subject matter expert on manufactured housing and to assist in managing the TTHU program. Scott Krenek has an extensive background in the RV rental business and a reputation as a leader in the field. An owner and operator for more than 35 years, he was instrumental in starting the industry’s first 20 Group focused exclusively on helping dealers improve their rental operations.  Krenek has also served as an instructor at the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo and the annual RV Rental School organized by MBA Insurance.

   Sandra Lewandowski serves as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Financial Solutions Specialist at Bank of America.  In her role, Sandra works with clients in the Global Commercial Banking segment including RV Dealerships to deliver comprehensive, integrated, benefit solutions and financial wellness programs to corporations, organizations, and their employees. Arenas of expertise include institutional retirement plans, health benefit solutions, and employee financial education programs. Sandra has extensive experience working with clients to deliver financial solutions.  She joined Bank of America in 2007 as a Business Banking Senior Relationship Manager in Orange County, where she managed a portfolio of commercial clients and prospects to bring end to end commercial banking solutions, including credit, deposit accounts, treasury services, and international banking.   She was also actively engaged in business integration efforts to bring Bank of America's tremendous breadth of capabilities to clients.  Todd began his insurance career with Reed Brothers Insurance in 2004. That same year, he became a licensed Property and Causality agent and thus launched his career as a Commercial Lines Producer/Agent.  Beginning in 2014 to present, he is serving as Commercial Lines Team Leader and Mentor to field agents with Brown & Brown Dealer Services. Todd continues to work closely with dealerships of all types providing them with coverage to protect their investments and Vehicle Service products to increase their bottom line. He has customers in over 20 states with an average client retention of 12 + years. He began his career in business in 1984 after his studies at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky. His first sales experience was a role with Force Wallace Ford.  He quickly rose to a top sales producer and was promoted to Gary Force Honda in 1985. In 1987 he took over as the Operations Manager of his family owned business, Moody Trucking, where he honed his management skills and broadened his knowledge of business both large and small. Shawn Moran started his career in 2002 as a Business Manager at an Automotive Dealership in Upstate NY. In 2003, Shawn went on to become a successful Finance Director for a large RV & Marine Dealership with multiple locations. In November of 2008, Shawn made the decision to open his own agency, F&I Consulting Unlimited, where he quickly became known for his work ethic and knowledge of the RV Industry. In July of 2013, Brown & Brown purchased Shawn’s agency, creating in a short time the largest RV Master General Agency in the country today.  Shawn covers the Nation providing personalized Finance training to all levels of Business Managers in the Recreation Industry.  He conducts numerous weekly training sessions consisting of both small and large groups.

Harold Oehler is General Counsel of Lazydays RV. Lazydays has six dealerships in four states. Harold handles all of the company’s legal matters and litigation. He has been General Counsel of Lazydays for 19 years. Prior to coming to Lazydays, Harold was a trial lawyer for nearly 10 years. His practice focused on defending automobile and RV dealers, manufacturers and finance companies. He represented over a dozen RV and auto dealerships across Florida, including Lazydays. Harold holds a degree from both the University of South Florida and the University of Florida College of Law.

Martin Onken is the President of Expedition Motor Homes in southern California. In addition to leading and managing the dealership, he also trains and consults third parties to open and operate successful RV rental dealerships and departments. Martin has presented at the RVDA convention/expo in previous years, primarily focusing on rental specific education.

 John Peak is the Senior Vice President, Business Development and Global Capital Markets Leader for Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF). In his role, he works with the commercial and risk teams to create financing solutions that enhance cash flow and drive growth for middle market and/or publicly traded companies. He leads strategic decisions for acquisitions/divestitures and helps develop innovative financial customer solutions. He heads Wells Fargo Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF)‘s participation team. Leslie Pujo is a Partner at Plave Koch PLC in Reston, Virginia. Pujo’s practice focuses on two primary areas – vehicle rental/mobility law and franchise law. Pujo is a frequent speaker on vehicle rental and mobility issues. Before joining Plave Koch, Pujo was a partner with LaPlaca Pujo, P.C. in Rockville, Maryland, in-house counsel for a major hotel franchisor and an associate at a leading Washington, DC law firm.

 Michael Rees

Michael Rees, as President of A World of Training, is a hands-on, results-oriented leader with a comprehensive successful background in RV and automobile sales, management, training and overall dealership operations. Working all aspects of management (F&I, Sales, GSM and General Manager), he moved back to England and became a Partner in a new and used car dealership, taking it to #1 in the nation. Since returning to the U.S. in 2000, he has been dedicated to training others to succeed, and has helped hundreds of dealers nationwide to become more successful themselves. Michael has written several articles for magazines such as Auto Dealer Monthly, RV Executive Today and RV Business. He is also a regular workshop speaker at the annual RVDA and various State conventions – he invariably speaks to a full house due to his captivating topics and lively presentation style.

 Paul Sheldon

Since 1992, Paul has conducted hundreds of workshops, seminars and training sessions for dealers across the country with two major goals; increase performance results and improve overall customer experience. Working with dealers in the areas of F&I, sales and customer service through many changing economies and customer cultures gives him the ability to help dealers adapt and prosper in any environment. Paul has been a presented at RVDA in 2016 and 2017 and previously for NADA, Toyota Financial Services as well as multiple dealer groups and national meetings. Currently, Paul serves as the lead trainer for Protective in the RV, Marine, and Powersports industries in addition to working with dealers and field representatives on a day-to-day basis. This mix of assignments allows him to stay current, relevant and up to date with our ever-changing marketplace.

Jered Sobel is Vice President of Sobel University an exclusive RV sales and management training company. At the last RVIA meeting, Jered received the 40 under 40 award for achievement in the RV industry. In just under five years, Jered has built a following of over 500 viewers consisting of RV dealers and employees on his RV Monthly Training Webinar. Monthly, Jered holds five-day courses speaking to groups of 40 to 120 RV sales department top producers. Jered also works one on one with RV Dealership personnel as well as with sales teams. You will also see Jered training in RV Dealerships live at least two weeks every month. Jered is known for designing the industry standard onboarding sales training manual. Jered identifies with the millennials as well as the most experienced RV professionals. Jered is published in RV trade publications monthly and is most appreciated for his insightful view of today’s consumer.

 John Spader

Born and raised in South Dakota, John Spader serves as President of Spader Business Management. John is one of the primary instructors of the popular Total Management Workshop offered by his company, and presents various other workshops and seminars related to business management. He is the author of articles which have appeared in many industry journals. John has been invited to speak for groups including Recreation Vehicle Dealers Association of America, Marine Retailers Association of America, North American Equipment Dealers Association, Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, and many more. John has worked closely with individual businesses in a variety of industries located in several countries around the world as a small business management resource provider and Spader 20 Group facilitator. He has also consulted and worked with associations and manufacturers, always with the focus on the privately-owned business whose owners’ savings are on the line.

Brad has worked in the financial services industry since 1993, becoming an investment professional with Morgan Stanley in 2009 through a predecessor firm. Initially with Merrill Lynch, he came to Morgan Stanley to provide clients with a full range of financial services and investment advice from one of the largest firms on Wall Street. Brad is a Certified Financial Planner and is registered in all 50 states. His focus is on financial planning and exit planning for business owners in the RV, Appliance and Electronics, Power Sports and Outdoor Power Equipment industries.

 With over 20 years in the Powersports/Marine and RV Industry, D.J. Stringer has experienced the success that comes with simple dedication to a structured Sales and F&I process proven to work in the real-world day-to-day dealership environment regardless of the brand or the size of the store.  D.J. has held every position from porter to Dealer Principal, and almost every one of them in-between, but one of his favorite positions is that of dealer educator (or what some people call a “trainer/consultant”).  D.J. now spends most of his time in dealerships doing training, on stages giving Sales and F&I presentations, and moderating 20 Clubs, but when he has some free time, you’ll find him skydiving at Drop Zones across the country or out SCUBA diving in South Florida.

Scott Stropkai

Scott Stropkai has been with Statistical Surveys since 2007.  During his time the company has enhanced its offerings, improved data efficiencies and continues to use technology to enhance the end customer’s experience.  Scott is a regular speaker at industry events and his work can be seen in numerous publications.  Before joining Statistical Surveys, Scott worked in the financial/banking field and was an elementary school teacher.  Scott holds an MBA from Western Michigan University and a BS in Education from West Virginia University.

 Ron Wheeler is founder and principal of Wheeler Advertising.  He has been a featured speaker at RVDA for over 25 years and at NADA for over 18 years speaking on relevant and hot topics ranging from Dealership Branding, TV Effectiveness, Social Media and Digital Marketing.  He began his RV advertising career over 30 years ago.  He has been very involved in the RV industry serving as the RVDA Convention And Expo Chairman for 6 years and has also sat on the RV Hall of Fame Board.  His company works with RV Dealers in over 30 states as well as Canada.

 Valerie Ziebron

 Valerie Ziebron is a leading industry expert and top-rated speaker.  You may have read her articles, seen her present, or had her pop into your dealership in search of "Golden Nugget Best Practices" to help RV businesses get more proactive and profitable. Valerie Ziebron started VRZ Consulting in 1989 and has since worked with hundreds of clients – big and small to increase not only CSI and Profitability but also job enjoyment. She has delivered thousands of presentations for dealers and their OEM partners.  Valerie makes a special study of what a dealership can do to “flip the switch from Reactive to Proactive” with the firm belief that to be profitable, you must be proactive.

Joe Zueger is the President of Workplace IT Management in Sioux Falls, a company he founded in 1997 to provide enterprise-level IT services to small businesses.  Workplace has a staff of 35 full time employees providing IT Management Services to hundreds of businesses and thousands of users in various industries, including RV dealerships, across North America.  Prior to founding Workplace, Joe Worked as a IT Consulting Manager for Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) in the Twin Cities for 7 years, specializing in State Government Systems development. Joe is leading Workplace’s evolution from a tactical partner to small business to an organization that helps clients understand and manage IT-based operational risk.
