Course Description: Every leader wants a high performing dealership team comprised of team‐oriented managers and employees. This highly interactive program has 3 components. First, it will begin by helping you discover how teams develop, the difference between a team and group, and the critical few behaviors required to meet your team’s needs. It will also include a team‐based completion! Second, it will help you diagnose your team’s current strengths and development opportunities. Last, we will create an action plan that details what you need to DO to take your team to the next level! The Young Executive initiative focuses on the professional development of younger dealership managers.

The 10 most common reasons teams fail
Learn why team conflict can be a good thing
The difference between a group and a team

Diagnosing Your Team’s Development Level:
Complete the “Team Performance Assessment” to assess your team against the 5 Dimensions of high performance teams
Diagnose the development stage of your team and the related strategies proven to strengthen performance
Develop the skills to identify the key growth issue that needs to be resolved before the team can progress to the next level of performance

Doing the Critical Actions for Increased Success & Satisfaction:

About the Instructor

David Spader
Spader Business Management

David Spader serves as a lead trainer and consultant for Spader Business Management. His areas of specialty include leadership development, succession planning, strategic development, company culture and effective hiring practices. He is the primary instructor for Spader’s Leadership Development workshops; Effectively Leading and Managing Employees; and Hiring Winners. He is also a lead instructor for the Total Management 2 workshop. In addition, David spends a significant portion of his time providing hands-on coaching for executives, managers, and future leaders throughout North America. He has recently been invited to present at national conventions in the RV, Marine, Farm Equipment and Powersports industries.
