RVIA Delays Two 2009 Trouble Shooter Clinics
RVIA’s Education Department has postponed the Trouble Shooter
Clinics (TSC) scheduled to take place in early 2009 in Bethlehem, PA,
and Waco, TX. The TSC slated for March 9-13 in Elkhart, IN will continue
as planned.
According to RVIA, low pre-registration numbers forced the
postponement of the clinics. “It is unfortunate that we have
had to postpone two of the three scheduled Trouble Shooter
Clinics,” said Bruce Hopkins, vice president of standards and
education. “The TSC schedule for 2009 will shift to 2010 and the
2010 schedule will shift to 2011.”
RVIA said its staff is continuing to develop the infrastructure
necessary to support the distance delivery of some of the TSC
classes. This effort will allow members to support the Trouble
Shooter Clinic program by providing instructional materials that can be
used in an online environment.
Current programs in production include basic electricity, NFPA 1192
for technicians, and a customer service seminar.
