RVDA Members Get Tools To Update Dealer Info on New App;
Partnership with Rand McNally Promotes Member Dealers

(Fairfax, VA) Rand McNally is emailing RVDA member dealerships instructions allowing them to access their profiles on the Best of the Road® online platform. The free dealer and service location app for RV travelers, featuring only RVDA members, is a partnership between RVDA and Rand McNally.

The subject line of the email is: "RVDA Members - You've been added to Rand McNally's Best of the Road." Dealers are encouraged to be on the lookout for this communication. "Best of the Road" is the portal through which dealers update and manage their dealership profile for the RVDA RV Dealer Locator apps.

Business information from all RVDA member dealers is now accessible in the RVDA Dealer Locator App, on Best of the Road, and on Rand McNally's Maps and Directions. The RVDA Dealer Locator App was released during the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo in Las Vegas at the beginning of October.

The informational emails contain dealer-specific logins and passwords. The portal for managing the profiles is through Rand McNally's Best of the Road microsite.

Once logged in RVDA members can:

• view their dealership’s page
• verify and update location information
• add descriptions and photographs, and soon dealers can 
• promote special deals and offers to drive more customers to their locations.

"I encourage all RVDA members to act quickly to update their pages with the most current information and begin taking advantage of this great member benefit."

The app, powered by Rand McNally’s Best of the Road® online platform, enables RVers to quickly access a listing of nearby RVDA member dealers across the U.S. and Canada. Each listing includes critical information such as location, contact information, and RVDA service certifications. In the future, the app also will provide up-to-the-minute deals and specials available at dealer and service locations. The information will be available on Rand McNally’s new RVND™ GPS units and as a download for current owners of the product.
