Jeff Hirsch of Campers Inn of Kingston Elected
RVDA Chairman of the Board for 2012-2013

Jeff Hirsch of Campers Inn of Kingston in Kingston, NH, became RVDA’s new Chairman of the Board during the RV Dealers International Convention/Expo in Las Vegas on October 3. Hirsch took over the position of RVDA’s top volunteer leader from Past Chairman Andy Heck during the association’s annual meeting, held in conjunction with the convention.

Hirsch has served in every officer position and as New Hampshire delegate. He first served on the RVDA Board in the early 1990s. Hirsch will serve as Chairman for two years.

Speaking to RVDA members at the meeting, Hirsch said he intends to emphasize the importance of RVDA membership. "One of my goals this year as your chairman . . . is to help RVDA continue to grow and evolve so that membership is seen as vital," he said. "We need to reach out and connect with every dealer possible."

Hirsch also expressed an interest in finding ways to reach the next generation of RV dealers by targeting younger executives and creating programs to serve their needs.

Other members of the RVDA Board of Directors for 2012-13 are: Second Vice Chairman -- John McCluskey of Florida Outdoors RV Center, Stuart, FL; Treasurer Brian Wilkins, Wilkins RV, Bath, NY; and Secretary – Amy Pennington, RV Outlet Mall, Georgetown, TX.

The RVDA Board of Delegates also elected the following new members to the board of directors: Will Jarnot, Pleasureland RV Center, Inc., St. Could, MN and Ron Shepherd, Camperland of Oklahoma, Tulsa, OK. Also serving on the board of directors are: past chairman Andy Heck of Alpin Haus, Amsterdam, NY; RV Rental Association (RVRA) representative Bert Alanko, MBA Insurance, Scottsdale, AZ; RV Learning Center Chairman Jeff Pastore of Hartville RV Center, Hartville, OH; and RV Assistance Corp. (RVAC) Chairman Tom Stinnett of Tom Stinnett Derby City RV, Clarksville, IN. RVDA President Phil Ingrassia also serves as a non-voting member.

RVDA is the national association representing RV retailers. The association's members include RV dealers, RV rental operators, and RV AfterMarket sales and service locations.
