RVDA -- the National RV Dealers Association and RVDA of Canada will hold the 2009 RV Dealers International Convention/Expo featuring the RV Learning Center in Las Vegas, NV, at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino on Oct. 6-9. The 14th Annual RVDA Education Foundation golf tournament is scheduled for Oct. 5.

Themed “Rising to the Challenge,” the convention will feature a new series of timely workshops designed to help RV dealership owners, managers, and employees respond to the critical issues the industry faces today.

Workshops for owners and GMs will focus on cash and personnel management strategies to stay competitive. Sales manager workshops will cover essential techniques for making more sales in a tough market. There will also be important workshops on acquiring inventory financing and sessions that can help dealers get more buyers qualified.   Educational workshops and the Expo will include a special focus on new products and services dealers can use to help build profits. RVDA will schedule a series of dealer-manufacturer brand committee meetings.

“RVDA volunteer leaders, staff, and our business partners are working hard to put together a convention and expo that will provide dealers and their top people the tools they need to survive in the current economic environment,” said RVDA Chairman of the Board Larry Troutt of Topper’s Camping Center in Waller, TX.  “The future belongs to dealers who make it through this downturn.  This may be the most important convention in the history of the RV industry and RVDA.”
