RVDA member communities offer members with like interests the
opportunity to browse topics, participate in discussion forums, and read
news items. Before using the RVDA Member Communities, please read
the RVDA
Member Community Guidelines & Terms of Service.
Please note that any information posted in the Communities
forums is accessible to all users. Do not post any information you
do not want others to see.
Below are instructions for using the RVDA Member Communities. If at
any time you have questions or difficulties using the communities;
please contact RVDA at (703) 591-7130 or e-mail info@rvda.org for further
assistance.
Using the RVDA Member Communities
This guide gives directions using one section, Dealer/GM, as its
example, but can be used as directions for any section. Just
substitute Dealer/GM with any other section you wish to use, such as
F&I.
This is a members-only area.
If you are a member of RVDA, simply log into the RVDA site
using your login and password that have been provided to you. If
you are a member and do not have a login and password, please contact
RVDA at (703) 591-7130 or e-mail info@rvda.org to receive one.
My Home Page:
Once you are on the Communities page, you will see at the top of the
page, My Home Page followed by My
Communities. Further down, you see different links
labeled, Dealer/GM, F&I, Parts and Accessories, Rental, and
Sales. These links will take you into the different
communities pertaining to that section. For example, click on the
Dealer/GM link and you will be taken to the Dealer/GM
Community site.
Community Home Page
On this site you will see that you are now on the Community Home
Page: Dealer/GM. You will also see a link that will take
you back to your home page labeled, My home page
followed by an arrow, then by Community Home Page,
(example: My Home Page> Community Home Page), which indicates
what page you are currently on. Under that you will notice
News, this will be for news items that are posted on
the site periodically, which you will be able to view as they are
posted. News posts that have become out dated will be archived in
the View News Archive located under the solid divider
line.
To the right, you will see Forums and under that a
link that says Dealer/GM Forums. Forums allow a
member to post and discuss different topics pertaining to that specific
section, in this case, Dealer/GM. See the section Forums,
to learn how to create a forum topic.
